CallbackSherry sat in the dining room of her small apartment. She held a half eaten peanut butter sandwich while staring at the phone on the table. 'Do it,' she thought. 'Pick it up and call him. Set your life back. Call him and get back on track.' Rita, Sherry's cat, purred on her leg before Sherry got down to lie on the floor. “I don't want to call him,” she said aloud. “I wanna go shopping. I wanna take a nap.”

A Seer StoryMike waited outside the kitchen door for her next meal. He would be the one to deliver it for her; it was his turn this time. He didn't enjoy doing it. He found her quite strange as anyone else would. It was, after all, her position in the great Telfur family. When the time came, a tray of food came from the small opening on the door. Mike took it and made his way down the opposite hall. Walking down the clean bright white halls of Telfur Tower felt like walking down a zoo to throw raw meat at a lion. At the end of the hall was a doorway guarded by two men in uniform. When they saw Mike, they open the doors enough to go in.

Guitar TownHe came around town at about noon with the sun high over his head. He stepped across the lifeless town made of small wooden shops and stores. All of them lined around the one main street going through the middle. Each footstep echoed with the wind blowing dust and dirt.  
 
He stopped about halfway through the town. He didn't need to go any further. He pulled back his coat and set it on a railing close by. He stood there for several moments as sweat trickled down his face. His fingers rubbing against his holster, waiting for their time. “That's a pretty tune you got there.”

ConsultationHe sat there waiting for the clock to strike two. He had an appointment today; one he looked forward to. This didn't happen everyday, but since it did, he was going to do all he could.  
 
"Excuse me, Mister Robertson, he's here," said the speaker box on his desk.   
"Thank you Jessie, send him in." He sat behind his desk as he watched the door in front of him open. A student wearing a black hood walked into his office and took a seat. "You wanna take that off?" he asked.   
The student hesitated, but eventually took it off showing his black windswept hair. It was in a certain style that the kids wear these days. Consultation

After reading :iconrufftoon:'s journal I'm kinda distraught. First, NickMag is gone, and I have no idea what it means for those damn Avatar comics that are supposed to be coming out. I mean, I bought my NickComicsMag. And then some douchebag "wrote" a book on Ancient Egyptian Religions even though every single thing in it is literally copied from Wikipedia. This douchebag when online, copied and pasted crap from the internet, called it a book, AND got it published. What the hell? Should I stop submitting stuff here on deviantART? because I don't want some asshole copying my stories and putting them in a short story collection and then having it published while I don't get squat. Fuck that.

And how do you think this makes me feel about the manga industry? Manga is starting to get popular. It's supposed to be booming, but with online scans and sites like OneManga.com is it going to collapse and fall like NickMag. Seriously, what the hell? I don't want Yen Press falling apart just because a couple of assholes put up scans of Jack Frost and Pandora Hearts on OneManga. What should I do? Should I boycott OneManga? I already spend what little money I have trying to buy manga and help the industry. Seriously, am I the only one who gives a shit? Am I the only one who actually buys manga at the bookstore now?
